Our Youth Board continues to
work hard on creating and implementing programs for children of all ages at
Kodimoh. Thank you to: Carly Abarbanel, Ben Rosen, Miri Rosen, Harvey Pava,
David Bavelsky, Shiran Asulin, Neal Freyman, Julia Zana, and Jeffrey
Greenbaum.
On November 16th,
our Kodimoh Youth joined USY at Temple Beth El for a Thanksgiving Feast and
Cooking Party for the Open Pantry. A dinner was prepared by our teens and
delivered the following morning. The two groups participated in ice breakers,
singing and socialzing. Everyone had a great time. We are planning more events
for the future.
The next Youth Shabbat will
be held on December 15th-16th. There will be a Friday
night dinner and Oneg at Kodimoh. Morning services will be run by the teenagers.
On Saturday night at 8:00, we will celebrate Hanukah at Shaker Bowl, which will
include candlelighting, latkes, and sufganiyot. The cost for the weekend will be
$20.00. Please RSVP to Yaacov or Carly. We also look forward to seeing you at
the Katz Family Hanukah Dinner on the 17th.
Tuesday Night Open Youth
Lounge continues to be successful. Please stop by any week to see what is going
on or to give suggestions for special programming.
